It takes something special to put a smile on a grumpy face - and National Cheesecake Day, Thursday 30th July, is exactly that. One day a year, the whole country stops to celebrate the dessert we've built our name on: rich, creamy, impossible-to-put-down cheesecake.
Fun fact for the day: cheesecake's history goes back thousands of years, with early versions reportedly served to athletes at the first Olympic Games in Ancient Greece. Turns out people have been obsessed with it for a very long time - we're just carrying on the tradition.
